It's a lot of responsibility having those other men's lives in your hand and even if you do everything right.....this is one of the lessons I came away from war with. Even if you do everything right men can die. And if you can't live with that, if you can't accept that… And some men, I know men today, good men who did everything right and they had men die on 'em. They blame themselves today. And it wasn't their fault. In fact, I've talked to one at great length about that to reassure him that he had done everything that he could and I was in awe of his courage but he....even all these years later...
