This young kid, blonde haired, freckled face, 'Uh, I'm from Wisconsin.' I'm going like, 'Wisconsin? Where?' And, 'Milwaukee.' 'Milwaukee! Me too!,' you know. So we got to be real good friends. And we had a lot of plans. You know he was gonna to buy a GTO and I was gonna buy a Mustang and, when we got back and we were gonna drive up and down the street and have a good time and he was gonna come to my cookouts, and we were gonna go to Packer games and we were gonna visit each other's families and have a good time afterwards. You know and, and it never happened. You know he died that May 6th, 1970. The morning of. And I tell people, 'Ed got back earlier than I did,' but he was here, (tears up) waiting for me, when I got back. And Ed was there when I got married. He was there when I started my first job, you know. He was there when I got divorced. And then he was there when I got married again, and so, and we had a few drinks together. And, so whenever I go somewhere, he's there. He's here.
