Support History
Wisconsin World War II Stories is just part of the long-term partnership between
the Wisconsin Historical Society
(WHS) and Wisconsin Public Television (WPT).
The project has the title The Wisconsin Collection. Through
it, history from WHS's archives and new materials will be featured in programs
on WPT, on the Internet and through other means in the coming age of digital
television.
The Wisconsin Department of
Veterans Affairs has joined the partnership for the production of Wisconsin
World War II Stories. The expertise and resources of this state agency, along
with the personnel of its Wisconsin Veterans Museum, have provided essential
assistance for this landmark presentation.
