Pictured here on Lake Geneva, the 70 year-old
'Deuce' is the largest active ice yacht in the world. Presently owned
by Rick Hennig, she was originally owned by Clare Jacobs, inventor
of the Drill Chuck. The boat measures 54' 6" long by 36' wide
by 55' high off the ice. She carries 750 sq. feet of sail. The Deuce
was clocked at over 143 mph in 1934 on Lake St. Clair using the Indianapolis
500 clock for the official time.
